Gensa is a family lifestyle platform for parents and guardians. The team behind it has been writing for and with local families since 2013 — first as Brooklyn Bridge Parents, now as Gensa Family LLC. This page tells you what to expect from us and what we expect from you, in plain language. The detailed legal terms live in the agreements you'll see when you create an account.

The basics

Gensa is for adults — parents, guardians, and the businesses that serve families. You need to be 18 to create an account. Browsing Gensa is free. Vendors pay to list their services and to advertise; we don't put paywalls on what parents can see.

What we expect

Honesty when you sign up — real information, no impersonation. Respect for other users — no harassment, no abuse, no spam. Lawful use of the platform. Vendors should describe their services accurately and operate lawfully. If something goes wrong, we may suspend or remove accounts.

What Gensa is not

Gensa is information and connection — not professional advice. AskGensa, our AI, helps you find what's around but isn't a doctor, lawyer, or financial advisor. Listings show what vendors say about themselves; we verify vendors are real businesses with real contact information, and we don't run background checks or verify licenses. Verify what matters to you before engaging anyone you find through Gensa.

Signing up adds detail

When you create an account, you'll be asked to agree to a more detailed agreement — the Parent Agreement if you sign up as a parent, the Vendor Agreement if you sign up as a vendor. Those agreements cover the legal relationship in full: payments, cancellations, what happens if there's a dispute, and everything in between.

You can stop using Gensa anytime. Account deletion is in your settings.

Changes

When we update this page, we change the “Last updated” date above. For changes that affect the agreement you've accepted, we notify account holders by email and ask you to acknowledge the update.
