The free event is presented by Community Offshore Wind, a joint venture between RWE and National Grid Ventures to bring local, clean energy to the Northeastern U.S. Their Brooklyn project will power more than 500,000 US households, while generating more than $3 billion in economic benefits for New York communities and creating more than 800 new, good-paying jobs for workers across the state.
