Sunday, March 16 | 3pm | FREE | $6 to purchase a packet of color | Prospect Park
Join Mixed Masala and BKCM in celebrating Holi, the Festival of Colors, on Sunday, March 16 at Prospect Park! The celebration begins at 3pm with picnicking and at Long Meadow (near Grand Army Plaza). Bring a blanket and snacks and enjoy the free concert. At 4pm attendees will be invited to join in the traditional celebration of throwing colored powder. We recommend that you wear white clothing and expect to get messy!

Saturday, May 3 | $15 per person | Brooklyn Children’s Museum
Brooklyn Children’s Museum is keeping the colorful celebrations going a little longer this year! On May 3, BCM and Ajna Dance Company are throwing a high-energy Holi Festival, complete with music, movement, and, of course, pounds of color powder for the ultimate color toss. Families are encouraged to wear white and get messy as the festival will travel to neighboring Brower Park to celebrate springtime, renewal, and joy. It’s the perfect way to keep the Holi spirit alive beyond March 14!
