At Greene Hill School, we take kids seriously. (sponsored)

Greene Hill School is an independent and progressive pre-K through 8th grade school in Ft. Greene, Brooklyn, dedicated to developing expansive learners who are open to a lifetime of self-awareness, high ambition and deep empathy. Our students benefit from small classes, and dedicated, attentive teachers who truly know and respect them. Our interdisciplinary curriculum weaves social justice into an academically challenging and rich program that emphasizes the importance of critical thinking, and is rooted in research on how kids learn best. Our students are excited and eager to learn, and nothing is surface level—neither their understanding nor their interest.

Our graduating 8th graders go on to a wide range of excellent independent, specialized, public, and boarding schools. More information about our progressive pedagogy, commitment to community building and social justice, and curriculum, can be found on our website.
